*Fashion series gets Green light*

Planet Green is going organic.

The network has given the go-ahead to "The John Patrick Show," a six-part docuseries about the eco-chic fashion designer.

The series will follow Patrick and his team from the abandoned Albany warehouse he transformed into an office to the tents of New York Fashion Week and go behind the scenes to show work on his sustainable line, John Patrick Organic.

The series will premiere in early 2011.

"The nature of design has changed, and its future will bring a revolutionary consciousness. In partnering with me to produce the first truly conscious fashion TV show, Planet Green has shown an extraordinary commitment to that revolutionary spirit," said Patrick in a statement. "I am confident that 'The John Patrick Show' will be one that does not disappoint - bringing surprises, insight and a look at the real process of how fashion is actually made."
